Real Ragnarok still not ready, but join anyway!

Since i couldn't restart the Ragnarok server on my own back then, I did not follow the recent events around hMod and subsequent Minecraft patches. Turns out that hMod died as well these past weeks...


hMod isn't compatible with the latest patch 1.2, and hey0 stopped upgrading it. There will be a new Minecraft server development project called "Bukkit". They are basically the new hMod guys. They do not have a public-ready release however, so for now there is a black hole. For all of you who don't know what hMod is and why we need the successor: All the mods, from the colored chat to the chest protection to the minecart station mod to the AllDo signs and WorldEdit or Cuboid...everything was dependent on hMod. Without it, you can just run a "free to build" server.

And that is what we're doing right now until Bukkit is ready!

The real Ragnarok experience might take some more time, but join us on the server and build stuff like you would in singleplayer with your ol' buddies!

Well it just went boom. Oh well, generated new world to check out updated stuff in ten minutes yesterday, walked right into a dungeon so it deserves to be more than temporary .

McMyAdmin decided it needed an update and refused to work as soon as I went to bed. I fixededed it.

The zombies don't like me I'm currently stuck in someones home with one heart let with zombies all around the door, this entire time john is behind them digging sand (It's a sign that the deserts are collaborating with them!)

I have to say I do enjoy the defending/running from mobs together.

Is it on?

I keep getting a failed to connect message.

It's going to be a while. There are several hundred names on the list and I have to add them one by one.

That is madness. Isn't there a .txt document in the server files or something?

Antriad, is it not possible to run the server as it was before while you copy it over?

There is a .txt file, but I tried editing it and it wouldn't take. It's all done now though.

Me too, it adds more of a challenge to the server.

and if implemented on ragnarrok, atleast disable creepers, yay our monument that took several days to build jsut got blown up
